Leadership

Margaret Grady, Founder and CEO

Margaret Grady
Founder and CEO

Margaret Grady is founder and chief executive officer at Grady Global LLC. As CEO, Ms. Grady sets the company’s strategic direction, cultivates client relationships, and builds and nurtures a network of enterprise learning strategists, designers, and technologists who are — quite simply — the best at what they do. As Grady Global’s principal consultant, Ms. Grady works directly with clients on all engagements and is personally accountable for the success of every project the company undertakes.

Prior to launching Grady Global in 2010, Ms. Grady worked for 25 years as a business-to-business educator in the financial services sector — both domestically and internationally.

As Senior Consultant at the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) in Washington DC, Ms. Grady collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to create and implement a comprehensive housing finance education strategy that supported the achievement of Fannie Mae’s mission and goals and created value for Fannie Mae’s corporate clients, industry partners, and consumers. She also worked in partnership with Fannie Mae’s International Housing Finance Services Department, the Urban Institute, and US AID to provide education and technical assistance to business and government enterprises involved in the restructuring and privatization of housing markets in countries in transition from centrally planned to market-based economies. She was a visiting instructor of housing finance at the International Banking Institute in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Before joining Fannie Mae, Ms. Grady was a Senior Project Manager in the Education Policy and Development Group at the American Bankers Association (ABA) where she worked in a consulting relationship with ABA divisions and the banker constituency they represent to conceptualize and design a systematic sequence of quality, cost-effective educational opportunities for the thousands of banking professionals employed by ABA’s member banks.

She graduated with an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough school of Business in Washington DC and received a BA in French from Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts.
